We went to Huntingtown, Md to get away for a short vacation for rest and to enjoy Cheaspeake Bay Area. The house was in a quiet country setting surrounded by nature but still only minutes away from stores and restaurants in Prince Frederick. The house is well maintained, organized, clean, comfortable and elegantly furnished with a number of antiques. It has everything you need in a kitchen if you cook. The porches are great place for coffee and seeing nature. Lots of deer and bird sounds. The night sky blazed with stars. The locals were really helpful and friendly which was refreshingly different than the city where I live. Much to my surprise the restaurant quality was top notch. Everyone loved it. I found there is lots to do in the area and could not get to everything. Not only was the Bay Area fun but we were also close to the Patuxent river which we enjoyed on our hike in the nearby King’s landing park. I would not hesitate to come back to this lovely property.
